William Hudgens 

 

When William Harrison Hudgens was born on November 23, 1850, in Athens, Louisiana, his father, William, was 24 and his mother, Julia, was 17. He married Mary Rebecca Bruton in 1877 in Maverick, Texas. They had nine children in 20 years. He died on October 11, 1894, in Hillsboro, New Mexico, at the age of 43, and was buried there.
