Robert Taylor

Robert H. was the son of Napoleon and Martha Jane Sweeney Taylor of Polk County, Tennessee, and was married to Leora Evaline Williams. They were parents of about 15 children.

Robert was a member of Carrizozo Lodge No. 39 O.O.F. He had served two terms on the Board of Lincoln County Commissioners and a term on the Board of Trustees of Carrizozo.

After Robert died, Leora went to California with son, Max Newton, died 22 Jan. 1944 and is buried there in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Find a grave memorial no. 59336386
