First mention of Mordica in newspaper is in Oct 28, 1882. In 1882 Mordica was 66. He partnered up with Joseph Biggs the local blacksmith in White Oaks and started a sawmill with various locations. Find a Grave list Mordica death in White Oaks 29 Mar 1904 (aged 77–78) and shows the burial in Cedarvale Cemetery, however upon checking no such person is listed. Having checked the newspapers for March of 1904, nothing was listed because the year 1904 is not searchable. So, creates another mystery….
