Because of knowing the locations of properties, through Lot and Blocks like White Oaks had in place in as early as 1883. With a newspaper Article referring to a location with description, it’s quite energizing. Take the lot below Block 8 Lot 2 BUCKHORN WHITE OAKS owned by Benjamin Goff in 1897….
Now this article wouldn’t mean much to the common person, but to a Historian with specific knowledge to locations with pictures, it means much more.. Take the picture below
