Died from the burning of South Homestake Mine Drift for 2 days!
Miner overcome by smoke fumes in the burning mine: had been in White Oaks but a short time. George Drake and Ernest Timoney, finally George Fitzpatrick and Will Warner were able to bring the lifeless bodies up to the surface.
