A TERRIFIC ANTIQUE COLLECTIBLE FROM HISTORIC NEW MEXICO TOWN….WAS CONSIDERED A GHOST TOWN AT ONE POINT….LOCATED IN HISTORIC “LINCOLN COUNTY”…A TIME FAMED OUTLAW WILLIAM BONNIE aka BILLY THE KID SPENT TIME IN.

This comes out of a lifetime collection of old New Mexico documents from a family that lived in Tombstone Arizona…..watch for future listings.

One thing i love is that this antique check still has the orange revenue stamp in the center (see gallery)….

this check is 121 years old

The historic town of White Oaks goes back to 1879 and at one time was considered a “ghost town”…the site is located in historic Lincoln County…old paper from this town can be very tough to find.…and as  mentioned “BILLY THE KID” spent time in this town during famed “LINCOLN COUNTY WARS” era.

Old check document is off white color paper, size is approx. 8 1/2″ x 3 1/4″, and it seems in nice shape, and is very readable pc of history (please see pictures in gallery)

Gallery pictures should tell you everything you need to know.

This came out of a small collection of New Mexico checks and  documents, please watch for future listings (will be “hard sleeved” for transit)
